The 252-page hardcover book brings together production stories and creative insights from Singapore-based Apsaras Dance Company. The brief was to create expansive visual landscapes that reflect the company's journey without overwhelming the reader, allowing the content to remain the hero. To support the visual story-telling, we also developed close to 100 unique illustrations throughout the book.
With over 100 photographs coupled with poetry and illustration, the book pays homage to the ethos of dance—its tradition, culture and community. The book was launched along with Singapore's National Heritage Board.
